Yes! Anyone who participated in the Interrail Impact Challenge is eligible to add on the extension following the final party. You will only travel with other Impact Challenge competitors on the extension - it is a private tour for your group.
All the big ticket items are included in the extension package.
While all activities and transfers are included in the package, there are a few things you will still be responsible for paying for during the extension.
The extension starts on August 8th, the day after your final party commences in Athens. August 8th you will have a full free day in Athens to relax, sightsee and explore on your own. On August 9th you will meet your extension guide at the Monastriaki Metro Station to transfer to Piraeus port.
The extension ends in the afternoon of August 11th, when you arrive back to the Athens ferry port. From here you can easily transfer back to the city via public transport or to the airport or train station.
After the extension ends at the port in Athens on the evening of August 11th, you have several options on how you would like to continue on with your travels. You can choose to return home, via flight or Interrail (we can help arrange a transfer to the airport - just ask!), You can add on a few additional days in Athens or surrounding areas, or you can continue onward to a brand new destination via train, bus, ferry, flight or private transfer.
We are here to help if you need assistance with any of the above arrangements.
Yes! When we put together this extension we made sure to build in some free time into the itinerary so you can add in additional tours, activities, or chill time!
We require a minimum of 8 people to run the extension. If we do not meet this minimum, we will cancel the extension and refund those who registered in full.
